Ayden's eyes opens slowly as he realizes he slipped off into a sleep while sipping his ale. After seeing that Baeron is back and placing a piece of parchment on the wall, he stands up and quickly rushes over to his side. "So their is need of one that is as puny as myself! I shall wait here for any others that wish to join me on this matter. It is such a drag waiting."
Ayden stands on a table and asks, "Will anyone travel with me on this adventure?" After noticing that nobody even flinched at the proposal and that Baeron had left in such a hurry, Ayden sits back down and finishes his ale.

Ayden, still waiting on someone to at least show interest in the adventure, slouches in his chair and mumbles, "Two hours I've been sitting here. Two hours, and still nobody is interested. The damn ship will set sail before I can find someone else." He stands up and goes to the bar, to order a hot tea.

OOC: gogo_jerrick, I believe garlicnation expressed an interest. I bring it up because you and he appear to be the only two active first level characters in the Inn at the moment. I don't recall if you were present before or after he expressed the interest, though. Also, if you are interested, be sure to go to the thread that Patlin linked to.

(ooc, i know that he showed interest, it's just that we have to be in a party before we go on the adventure. Patlin specifically stated that we shouldn't start the adventure or post on the thread until we have a party. I'm still waiting for someone to show interest and put up a recent post. He wants us to know each other before the adventure)

ooc: My initial thought was that the players could get together at the inn and then head out in the new thread. If you prefer to do it another way, though, I can live with that. Also, please understand that LEW is most definitely NOT in real time. Two hours passing in real time time doesn't mean your character has been sitting in the in for two hours. I've seen a 6 second combat round take several days, for example, and a conversation in the inn between two players that would take 15 minutes game time can easilly take a week. That's just the pace of PbP.

(ooc: I know that real time doesn't equal game time, it's just while at the inn it's easier to judge time in real time. My character goes to bed when I go to bed so it just works easier that way for my character(I just use it for flavor, because I have been sitting here waiting for two hours for a post). If other characters don't do that, it's easy enough for me to make posts retroactively. I'll just put a post up in the adventure so nobody forgets about poor little Ayden)

Michael rattles around in his belt pouch and turns up a grayish blue stone. He begins to turn the stone idly in his had as he watches the bar.
"Don't get too booked up for a day or so. There may be another journey in your future."

"Thank you, my wise friend, I will be guided by your portent. Truth to tell, I've worked for that merchant before, and while it was no fault of his, it didn't work out as well as I would've liked. I'll try my luck with another job."

OOC: Real time and game time are not identical. just because 2 hours of real time passed doesn't mean 2 hours of game time passed. Some people regularly sleep at different times in RL, but don't here. Be patient, people will show up eventualy.
