Hulgyr reacts a bit surpirsed to Valans's reaction "Not magic. But very light. It is very nice. If I had a bit more of money maybe I could make it magic. But my sword just got magic. No money left.
Hello mister Jinx."

Droggle stumbles over from the bar to a side table, his eyes scanning over the other bar patrons as he takes a seat. He opens a small pocket set in his shirt and looks down at the few coins remaining, thinking he will have to find work soon.

The adventurers from his home town never told stories of their downtimes between their escapades, so he assumed their lives were nonstop excitement, but if he did not find something reputable to do soon he was in danger of becoming the town drunk.

Hasin spots Droggle drowning himself in a northern mead- sneaking up behind him...(WHISPER) make a single move and i cut out your eyes. give me the few gold you have left dwarf and you MAY walk out of here with your beard intact.
unable to control his laughter- the half drunk Dwarf claps his cousin on the shoulderHA HA HA! Droogle my Cousin! It is good to see you, though it is bad tidings I bring. Your uncle- my father has been slain by an assassin's blade- though it is a tale for another day! Tell me of your fortunes!

Droggle looks up and sees the rather blury form of his cousin. "You know a few more scars and I might actually be pretty."

"I am sorry to hear about your father, but if the rumors were true, it was only a matter of time before that man met a bad end." Droggle then pauses a moment as he looks at you. "There are some who think that if you continue down the path that you are on, that you may as well"

His demeanor then turns more jovial "Joe, antother round for me and my cousin"

For a split second, Jinx can't quite make up his mind about who to gape at first - the talking orc, or the madman talking to a bottle he hasn't even drank from yet.

So he does neither, and instead blinks once, brings his jaw back up, and sends a grin at Valan. "When you're having fun, and doubly fast when you're having fun and been drinkin' since morning. Who might you be?"

HAHAHA! The path I'm on? BAH! I can take care of myself- my ambition and wit will keep me safe- and eventually make me rich. It seems my father had a lust for women and gambling that ate into my meager inheritence- It is unfortunate to have older brothers. Hasin smiles as the barmaid brings another round.A pity that orcs and halfbreeds are allowed to eat with civilized folks in this town. But- I guess the Northlands are as unrefined as they are wild!

Droggle finishes his brew and looks to you again and says in a rather macabre tone "there are dungons littered with the corpses of dwarves that can take care of themselves. But as for me, I would rather meet my end on an orcs spear than as an old dwarf huddled in his shop polishing rocks, leaving that place was the best decision I ever made, though at this rate I may end up never leaving this bar.

He eyes the fingerbone dangling form your neck, "what is that? a trophy taken from a friend of yours?"

A friend? In a way i suppose this is a token of my father- It seems that he knew the location of a fabulous treasure when he died- I intend to get him breathing again so i can learn its whereabouts So how about that woman you were to marry? the one with the buck teeth and a hairlip? whatever came of that? What was it your father called her? "A diamond in the rough- waiting to be worked into a fabulous jewel" . HAHAHA! I think she may have been the homeliest dwarf I have ever seen- the looked worse then most of the sweaty barbarians in here!

Droggle's eyes perk up at the mention of treasure. "rumors of treasure are seldom true, and even then are usually exaggerated, not to mention getting the old man breathing again will probably cost you more than that so called treasure is worth ... but on the other hand, it does sound like it could be fun anyway"

He grins again as he thinks back to his fiance "now Tessia is another matter, you are right about her looks, but her family was fabulously wealthy. But still, we have put off the engagement ... indefinately. Perhaps a new marriage will be arranged for her while I am out adventuring."

Fabulously wealthy eh? Perhaps I should write the beautiful Lass a poem...

"now don't be too hasty there cousin, I said her family was fabulously wealthy, and in time she may command more of that wealth, but for the time being, it is her father you would need to impress."
