Clangedinn during the Time of Troubles

Does anyone know where Clangedinn is during the ToT? I am trying to see if it is somewhere my character might be. We have reached the year of the ToT and my DM said that we will go through it. Of course I can't wait to see the look on the face of the player that runs a Mage/Cleric/Dwemokeeper of Mystra when it happens.

It is 1,900 miles, as the crow flies. Overland travel and then sea travel would be longer.

That would like me going to Santa Domingo. Don't think I would quite have a reason to go that far. Especially since I don't know that this is going to happen or that he will even be there once it does happen.

Just curious...how much does the events mentioned resemble the events of the Forgotten Realms comic of that time? In the comic, the elven cleric became an avatar, but the details are rather foggy to me now, other than that the elven god was a real jerk, and apologized after the fact (describing being trapped in a mortal body as making him half-crazed, IIRC).
