Level Up (A5E) Clarifying "Cannot cast another spell through your spellcasting focus"

Legend
A few spells have a clause that you cannot cast another spell through your spellcasting focus while casting this spell. So I wanted to check on exactly how this works:

  • So if I'm using the actual Material components, does that mean there is no change whatsoever?
  • Lets say I cast a spell like Accelerando through my SF. So can I now cast follow-up spells using material components?
    • If the answer is yes, is my hand still "full" with my SF, or can I drop the SF and use the hand for material components?

All bard spells, the assumption being that you're playing a tune
1) Yes. You can just whip out some licorice instead to make the whole thing magical (although it's not as cool).
2) Yes.
2b) You can use your other hand for material components provided your spellcasting focus doesn't require two hands, and that the material components are something you can hold in one hand. If the Narrator is particularly merciful and the circumstances right (like a very cool bard clacking away with castanets in one hand, some licorice in his mouth, and swinging a sword with the other) you might "hold" material components elsewhere, but RAW that's what hands are for.
