Cleric AoE Powers?

There seems to be quite a few cleric Area of Effect powers that list targets as 'Enemies in burst' Flame Strike is an example and I think Fire Storm or something like that..

Do all of these really only hit your enemies? If so Clerics will be awesome nukers.

Thats how I read it. The Wizard Fire Shroud encounter ability also says Enemies in burst even though most of his powers say All Creatures in burst or area or whatever so I would say that it is a definite and intended difference.

I remember in the Everquest RPG game there was a metamagic feat and I think it was called adventures spell or something. It let you not hit anyone you designated with an AE spell even if they would normal be in the effect.

If it says Enemies, it means just enemies, not allies. If it had targeted enemies and allies it would say Creatures.

Plenty of wizard powers only target enemies as well.

Having god(s) on your side can be quite handy.

Burst and Blasts? Without a feat? Didn't notice any. I didn't look very carefully it seems... weird...
