Cleric Books?

Complete Divine: Official material that updates a lot of older material to 3.5. Presented in a hardcover format in full color.

I'd wait for the next printing of The Complete Divine before picking it up. Although there's potential, there's also some... intriguing... editing going on in the first run, as I'm sure has been discussed on these boards already. However, if they fix the mistakes (and deal with the mysterious bits of 3.0 material that are strewn about the thing), it will be a good resource!

I read a lot of books. Name me five game breaking errors in this one. When we've got books like Conan and Doom Striders out there that follow the pattern, I just put up my hands in frustration, count to ten and remember that there are still many good, viable and useable ideas and that to discount a near 200+ page full color product because of some errors is well, silly. (Not saying it won't be reflected in the review and the score mind you...)

It's not so much the "game-breaking" as the numerous "me-shelling-out-$45-breaking" errors that concerned me - my favouritest one of those being Tharizdun's Fav Weapon on page 121. For those of you without access to the book, that weapon would be the dreaded "check toee." However, don't get me wrong - my advice was not to avoid The Complete Divine like the plague (because you are correct about the good ideas in the book), but rather to wait until certain of the more egregious errors were cleared up. At the very least, wait until there's some sort of official errata out there before parting with actual money for the book.

I already have The Complete Divine-- really, I already have MOST of the Cleric books for 3.5/3.5 friendly...

Hopefully, I'll be making my trip to the nerd store this weekend to pick up a new resource... still not sure which one I'll be buying... but, I really appreciate everyone's advice!
