Clerical Assistance; PC gen by help.

First Post
I'm going to be playing in an Evil campaign (No, the GM doesn't have the BoVD; a new DM infact).

The synopsys is that the world is dilluted with good; an evil horde was locked away in a parralel world. The forces of good hunt down evil with a vengence. But this isn't doing good for the Cosmic Balance. So the party is hunting down the fragments of a key to release Evil back into the world.

There are no orcs. There are no elves (They all assended except one).

The player makeup:
Halfling Wizard
Fighter/wizard
Monk
Cursed Paladin
Ranger.

All 4th level.

What I'm wanting to make is a cleric. A snake-oil salesmen style cleric. "Sure, I'll heal you, but you have to Sign this first..." Basicly a wheeling, dealing negotiator, trickster, silver tongued little bastard.

So, here's what I ask:
Should I multi-class 1 level with a rogue? Will that mess up my spell-casting too much? I'd do it mainly for skill-points and sneak attack.
What domains are best? I'm going for Trickery, but otherwise, what? I would have went for Luck, but the spells are horrid.
What feats? I don't know if he'll allow any otherparty stuff (I do know he isn't letting a player use the OA stuff),.

It's a homebrew world, so basicly I can worship whatever diety I want. Which, I'm going to make a deity of Deception, Illusion, and all that good stuff.

For my second domain i'd go with fate if you don't like luck.

Granted power is unncanny dodge

1:true strike 2:Augury
3:Bestow curse 4:status
5:Mark of justice 6:Geas/quest
7:vision 8:Mind blank 9:forsight

It has a good spell list and unncanny dodge is a useful power.

Considering that he won't likely have a good dex (I need to spread ability scores so thin), uncanny dodge wouldn't work that much (Well, except if he's flanked). And I donno about the spell list.

Same reason for Fate and what he's doing. That may mean that he believes there's no way he's going to get out of what he's doing, and that would essentially mean he can't influence his own path. Which would likely bugger him. :)

And I donno if the GM would allow it. But still a thought.

Any others?

You could take the Trade domain...it's not the most munchkiny solution, but it would fit the concept.

Granted power: Detect thoughts 1/day on one target for Cha bonus minutes.

Spells: 1) Message 2) Gembomb 3)Eagle's splendor 4)Sending 5)Fabricate 6) True seeing 7) Mordy's mansion 8)Mind blank 9) Discern location

Hmmm.
The only problem there is I see absolutely no use for some of those spells. :) If the GM would allow, though, I could see that... And if I could somehow spontaniously heal...

as far as spontaniuos casting you can't switch out domain spells for healing. There will always be some duds on the domain list, thats why you have more than one choice. It sucks, believe me i'm playing a cleric right now, but there is no perfect domain choice in my experiance.

Though Domination, Renewal and Nobility are nice... :)

You could try Shadow perhaps or Entrancement. Shadow allows you to add you levels to Hide and Move Silently. Or Entrancement, gives you the ability to become VERY Charismatic.

Nightfall, even *I* don't have access to those. :)

But, what do people have to say about the others? What feats, should I multiclass?
