I've been a fan of CC for a couple of years now. I started when I picked up a copy of 'Inca Gold' at a used bookstore at the beach for reading (my luggage had been lost), and devoured it. Since then I've read most of his Dirk Pitt books, but not many of the other ones. (Haven't read the latest DP book yet, as I'm afraid the last couple DP books have been a little over the top.)

I haven't gotten around to re-reading Sahara yet, but I was quite fond of the movie. It felt like a CC movie, in my mind. Especially since the first glance we get of Pitt is when he shows up unexpectedly to rescue the beautiful girl of the movie.

I wasn't fond of the Kurt Austin book (I've tried to finish Serpent a few different ways, and haven't), but Golden Buddha was a nice change of pace that I found quite good.

I so want a CC rulebook of some sort. (d20 Numa? GURPS Cussler?)
