D&D 5E Clone vs Disintegrate

So Disintegrate states:

"A disintegrated creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to a pile of fine gray dust. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a true resurrection or a wish spell."

And Clone states:

"At any time after the clone matures, if the original creature dies, its soul transfers to the clone, provided that the soul is free and willing to return. The clone is physically identical to the original and has the same personality, memories, and abilities, but none of the original’s equipment. The original creature’s physical remains, if they still exist, become inert and can’t thereafter be restored to life, since the creature’s soul is elsewhere."

So my question is, does Clone bypass the "cant be brought back" rule from Disintegrate since Clone isnt bringing you back, its transferring your soul? Clone actually states that you already cant bring the original remains back, leaving me to believe that you technically arent being brought back to life.

Yes. I wouldn't say it bypasses it; instead, Disintegrate is simply stating what is already apparent in the rules for the typical "bring back from the dead" alternatives, which is to say- you need a body.

Oh hey, I didn't realize this earlier. Can you not revive a disintegrated person with Reincarnate?

In that case, disintegrate saying "only by means of a true resurrection or wish," is more specific than the text of the reincarnate spell.

In fact, I'd say the only reason that clone gets by with not being halted by disintegrate is that it creates a second already-alive-by-the-time-of-death body so the creature being disintegrated isn't "restored to life" because the clone is already a "duplicate of a living creature" (emphasis mine)

Reincarnate requires a piece of the dead body or to touch the dead body, so I would say no. Clone works, since it isn't really about the old body at all.
