What is the situation? Are we residents of the town? Do we know each other? etc.

I would safely say as this is a smallish town, you know of each other, as most people are commoners and you all stand out. You may not know each other and there can be an interlude where the party introduces themselves formerly to others. You can be temporary residents who are acting as protectors at the time.

I wanted to allow everyone a shot at posting, and returning from vacation and getting resettled and all. Now that we are all here (I am sorry Garyh didn't get into this one) I will post on a more regular basis, probably a Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday schedule.
