The plan in brief:
1) Product 1: Character Classes (drop into any d20 fantasy setting)
2) Product 2: Magic System (drop into any d20 fantasy setting)
3) Depending upon interest generated from the two aforementioned products, a World Book with all kinds of craziness.
All to be produced for pdf only. All to be sold through rpgnow only. I may look at using their print service if there is enough interest generated down the line.
I have written the first one, and am part way through the second. I am looking for artists willing to work on % of net basis, with the following outline:
Cover art 10% of net (colour, quality, including titles)
Internal Art 15% of net (less important, but more of it, and needs to have consistant feel)
This is open ended, and the only costs to be taken out are the rpgnow costs and transaction costs for paypal. So if it sells and sells, you keep getting money. If it sells nothing, you get nothing. Like me. I am hoping this would be a nice place to showcase art and for ongoing benefit.
Ownership: I am buying the non-transferable rights to run your art in my publications, now and future. You retain ownership of of the art, and can use it for any other purpose you so desire. If a print run is generated later, this status is retained, but the net percentage of gross returned would be lower as the costs would be higher.
Submission deadline: Asap.
Multiple artists: possible for one artist for cover and other for interior.
Hard Copy: I just need the electronic hi-res version of the art, you can keep the originals. Plus you get a free copy of the finished pdf.
Style: it's d20 fantasy. There will be need for several character class portraits, so good human / near human is a pre-requisite.
To have a look at the very brief ideas I have put up so far, check out www.plotdevice.com.au and click on the Arclight link.
Email me via the above site's links for more info. I am happy to look at web pages of people's art, so send links by preference. I can receive small samples of art (no more than a meg please) to the listed email address.
Oh, and I am in Australia, so my hours may seem strange to you.
Thanks
Evan

Thank you very much to all the respondants. I am green with envy at your artistic ability, the lot of you. I have enough people to choose from, too many in fact now, whom I will be emailing shortly with my decisions.
I repeat what others have said on this forum already, there are a lot of very talented people out there, and the diversity and ability of those in this industry is phenominal.
Thanks again for your interest, and warm regards,
Evan
PPS, thanks S/Lash, I recon Australian hours are stranger than NZ ones regardless... Um, and Atlantean guy? Ix nay with the naked guys, parakalo. epharisto poli.
