CMs

We need to consider who might make good CMs. As of today, our current CM list looks like this:

First off, do we have ANY DM's right now? I would like to see someone begin to run some games before making them a CM.

I would like to see some more CM's run their first game as well.

I run the For More Than Glory campaign. I am considering running a second campaign.

There's a couple others, online, plus Northman's play-by-post campaign, and I know at least Renfield runs one offline, though not sure if he still is, or why he hasn't posted some stuff in the AREA forums

The point I was trying to make is that I don't think we should ask anyone to be a CM now that is not running games as a DM. We NEED games to be run. I have a slow and steady stream of players inquiring about my campaign from old posts on ENWorld, RPGHost and OpenRPG forums looking for a player. There is no one running games to capture these people that I know of. All of the campaigns mentioned are full right now.

We should first concentrate on recruiting DM's. Then pick amongst those that respond and are active to be CM's.

I agree with Entropy. Our priority should be DMs and then after seeing good DMs in action, ask them to become CMs. For now CMs should double up on kingdoms so the timeline can continue until we get new CMs.

I think that is a good idea Northman. I will volunteer to take Hibrideas. It would be nice for Kinrisar's nearest neighbor to have SOME activity.

I've taken Mittendien and Caedmon in the past, so I'll let others double up unless we don't have enough willing CMs.
