Though I actually need to write an entry for "Coat of Arms" some time... but this link was too cool to ignore.

Just wanted to drop by and post an update since this thread has gotten some recent replies.
In the next week or so I expect to add a bunch (25 is my goal, maybe more) of new charge/symbol graphics. I also will tweak the shape of the traditional shield. I was able to learn a little more SVG and I now can create a nice single smooth curve for each half of the bottom of the shield. (Right now if you look closely you might see it looks ever so slightly wavy.)
I've been putting most of my free time into a new project called Hexographer which you may have seen me posting about. It allows you to quickly and easily create Known World/Mystara/Voyage of the Princess Ark style hex maps. That project and some smaller things are the reasons I haven't made updates in the past month and a half on the Coat of Arms Visual Designer.

Wow, has it really been a few months since I posted my plans to update the software? I guess I just kept working on Hexographer.
But I finally did update the Coat of Arms Visual Designer. It now has a much nicer and smoother default shield shape, a more curvy name/motto scroll and 15 new charges. (I didn't get to 25, but I'll be adding more soon.) I now plan to more evenly split my project time between these two projects (the Coat of Arms Visual Designer and Hexographer) as well as a third.
