[CoC] 13 Ghosts

Sounds like great fun for a one shot but I couldn't see it incorporated into a campaign. While all the evil ghost are great to scare, or worse, people with; the sanity losses would soon spiral out of control leaving a group of gibbering idiots, if they survive at all.

I say go for it though and let us know how it went.

Actually I think you could turn it into a campaign if you have the characters working for a rich sorcerer (unbeknownst to the PCs) trying to caprture the 12 ghosts and then helping the family defeat the house and sorcerer in the finale of the campaign....there's at least 13 sessions there....and if you have the DVD of 13 Ghosts they go into the history of each of the ghosts as well....

you could change the Rich Sorcerer from wanting to open the Infernum Ocularis (was that its name) and accessing Hell....to having the machine (house) summon Nyarlothotep or Hastur or Cthulhu or even Azathoth himself.....

intriguing....I may just have to look into this myself now that I think about it!!
