[CoC] Prestige classes?

Would the inclusion of prestige classes ruin the "everyman" feel of the PC's? Are any of you considering using prestige classes?

Would any extra classes have to be Prestige classes? If you want a Delta Force commando, can't he be a variant Fighter/Rogue? It's not like combat skills are supposed to make a huge difference anyway, not once the cosmic horror kicks in.

i'm a little torn. I've been wondering how to make an assassin (for a modern-era campaign): whether I should use normal characteristics or make a low-powered assassin prc.

Tweak the D&D Rogue a bit -- if you don't think the default Investigator can't do the job.
