Following your link takes me to a page with the picture of the Beholder and the Mindflayer doing weird things to some dead looking body...

A.

edit: A refresh has caused the old image that was there to disappear. Weird. I can only suspect that the original name and art offended some sensibilities.

Well, there's not that much of a surprise in seeing a name change. Not that I didn't like the old one, but use the miniatures sets as an example. A few times already the sets 'original' name is changed to an official one.

Probably it was just an image from an old cache file of the website.

I know, thats why I refreshed. I do work in web security, in a group called Web Hacking, Attack and Penetration.(WHAP) I had better be able to recognise when somthing was just in a cache file.... I was talking about the whole chage the name change the image routine. I think it might have offended someone... maybe...(?).

Maybe marketing research indicated that too many people were saying, "Codex Anna whosis? Thelma?"

Too bed; Codex Anathema was a cool name. And this seems awfully late in the game for a name change; Googling "Codex Anathema" gets 8500 hits, and the first 3 full pages are all about the WotC book. That's a lot of websites that are going to need to be updated . . .

Say, I hope this marketing change isn't indicative of any kind of editorial or developmental change; it's kind of late for that sort of thing . ..
