colored horizontal rule ([hr])?

First Post
The [ hr ] tag creates a horizontal rule, but it is black (on almost black background), which means it is hardly visible at all.

It doesn't seem to be possible to give it a color, or am I missing something?

Maybe you could give it another default color than black (the standard font color for posts maybe)?

Let me test something.

The above is normal in black.

Let us see what that one is.

Yes, apparently, you can have whatever color you want, so long as it is black.

There is an inline style forcing the black color of the HR that would require editing of the post template in vbulletin (which isn't hard), but if you (Morrus) added the following line to the style sheet...

div#posts div table td hr {border-top:1px solid #ccc;}

...it would add a 1px border to the top of the HR (ccc = light gray). The cool thing is that on black, the grey would show up well, and on white, the black would show up well.

That line is very specific (more than it needs to be) but that just makes sure the style only effects HR's in forum posts.

Of course, with the new forums coming he may not want to mess with it ;)
