Does combat challenge only work on your own marks? Can a fighter get a mba against an oppenent that is marked by someone else? I doubt its RAI, but it seems to be RAW.

Combat Challange (Par 2):In addition, whenever a marked enemy that is
adjacent to you shifts or makes an attack that does not include you, you can make a melee basic attack against that enemy as an immediate interrupt.

I can see an interesting catch 22. Put two fighters next to the oppenent. One marks it. Now, no matter which person it attacks it gets attacked by one of the fighters.

That was updated way back in June 2008, for exactly the reason you mentioned.
