Combat Maneuverability

Combat Maneuverability
Prerequisites: BAB +6, Dex 15
Benefit: You may replace any of your iterative attacks with a 5-foot step. This can only take the place of an interative attack (i.e. if you have two attacks from Flurry of Blows, or two weapon fighting, or any other reason, this feat doesn't apply). The 5-foot step from this feat can be used with the usual 5-foot step (i.e. the 5-foot step from this feat does not count as any portion of your movement).
You may only take one 5-foot step from this feat, independently of how many iterative attacks you have.

Hmm. Dangerous. TWF fighter may use this for his second attack, then take his "normal" 5ft step. He's 10ft away and can finish the rest of his attack by throwing daggers... His enemy can only close and hit once. Rinse repeat... it's a nice idea but too strong IMHO.

Unless his enemy has the same feat...

Still, I see your point. Maybe change it to this:

Combat Maneuverability (take 2)
Prerequisites: BAB +16, Dex 15
Benefit: You may replace any two of your iterative attacks with a 5-foot step. This can only take the place of interative attacks (i.e. if you have multiple attacks from Flurry of Blows, or two weapon fighting, or any other reason, this feat doesn't apply). The 5-foot step from this feat can be used with the usual 5-foot step (i.e. the 5-foot step from this feat does not count as any portion of your movement).
You may only take one 5-foot step from this feat, independently of how many iterative attacks you have.

I'd change it back to the original version but add Dodge, Mobility and Spring Attack to the prerequs.

Then it's simply a Spring attack upgrade for someone who already can do the abovementioned stunt and not a cheap way to the same tactic.
