Metal detectors aren't likely to work in a society where personal modification, implants etc have become a lil more commonplace (No total cyborg gangs yet please people) if still ridiculously expensive and weaponry can probably be made using alloys that don't set your basic detector off.Security is tighter out the back however as there is a government agency upstairs (WIZO) and staff may scan the room generally every now and then to pick out any lead casing that may be hiding something more dangerous than a personal firearm. - Pounamu</blockquote>
