Common 3.25 Rules

For Spell Focus, we do each feat as granting +1 DC and caster level for that school. It makes it more useful to all schools. We stick a "caster level 5" prereq on GSF in order prevent first level wizards from abusing it, but we also add it to the wizard bonus feat list.

The paladin is a mix between the Book of Hallowed Might's one and 3.5's one, and I keep the 3.0 mount feature.

I use 3.0 spells.

I think I'll use DonAdam's version of SF and GSF.

Improved Critical & Keen I think these should stack. One is a function of technique and skill, while the other is a fact of a magically sharpened blade. Of course, multiple magical critical range modifiers will not stack, as normal.

Excellent. I knew I started this thread for a purpose.

Geting up from prone

I'm not the DM of the game i'm in at the moment but if I had my way I'd have getting up from prone provoke a AoO unless a tumble check DC15 was made.

IRL I'm a cop and generally if you're on the ground it's safer to fight from there (and hope your mates get there soon!) than get up and be stuck in the process unless you are good at what you do martial arts/gymnasitics wise.

I am a proud player of v3.25 D&D.
  • Improved Critical and Keen stack.
  • Power Attack damage is multiplied by .5 with an off-hand weapon, and 1.5 with a two-handed weapon.
  • Rangers? 1d10 hp, 4 skill points, low reflex.
  • Gnomes? Favored class, illusionist.
  • Monks? Unarmed strikes iterate at -3, not -5.
