I see absolutely no problem with someone being able to say "he's (in this square) right in front of me". As long as there is an easily communicated spot, it's no problem. If he's 35' north and 15' west of that tree.... then you're going to have difficulty communicating it.

My eldritch knight who at the time was invisible/flying. swoops past the fire giant sorc.'s guards and gets ready to pound his the next round. He looks at me(see invis) points at me ans say "There's one right here boys!" I did not survive.
