Compendium New Look

The Compendium has some new duds...

Looks a little more professional to me, and not so much like someone's home project. (Also seems faster.)

Also has Dark Sun and Essentials stuff in it.

Sniff ... it still doesn't work on my Android Phone, but I like the look and speed of it.

I noticed a small error, the top-right input box is a few pixels smaller then the text on firefox.

That's significaly faster on my older computer (which used to bog down heavily when processing search results).

Opening the Compenion works, but searching not. Which is simply a Interface Problem, since there are Sites and Programms that let me access the Data.

I'm a big fan of the new interface. It's a little more discrete for browsing while at work!

Definitely seems faster. Looks like they've added companions, backgrounds and some other missing stuff. Though couldn't tell if this included, say, the full rules on how companions and familiars actually work.

Still some absences - artifacts are hard to search for, Tiamat still doesn't have stats. I would love to see another column added, when searching for feats, that shows the requirements of each feat, so I could search for "Fighter" and then only click on the ones I actually qualify for. (And ignore all the feats for different races, builds, weapons, etc.)

it is faster, and does have essentials. Any other changes in functionality?

A more advanced search really would help in general.

As is, you can't search for "exact phrases", or any | item | in | list, or -negative keywords.

One thing I noticed, you cannot filter for rarity (common, uncommon, rare) on magic items.

This might be an artifact of the database lumping all mundane equipment in with magical ones.

It would be nice to search by rarity.
