I think Dragon and, particularly Dungeon, have been excellent recently so I don't agree with you there.

I like painting minis and Christopher West's maps so I might look into this depending on price. The poor spelling is a turn-off though. First "Ebberron" and now "Compleat" -- who on earth edits these things

You answered why I think the quality is down. Editing has gotten worse. It should be West's maps in Dungeon instead of a skirmish game. The online supplements haven't been on time in months.
