Complete Arcane

From ANY book.

Oozemaster, it hasn't been offically updated to 3.5 but it is really an orginal class and cleverly done. If only the picture next to it would be better, too many people think the picture fits the class.

My favourite prestige class is still the alienist - I played one in my first ever Third Edition campaign. It's in Complete Arcane, reprinted from Tome and Blood.

Shadowbane Inquisitor or Nature's Warrior.

The first one makes Paladins cool, and Phillipi's illustration takes my breath away, no matter how often I look at it. The second is just perfect for a slightly crazed druid who likes hunting a bit too much.

Core Class: Warlock. No doubt about it, but the Scout comes somewhat close...

Prestige Class: Tie between the Elemental Savant (CA), Acolyte of the Skin (CA), Alienist (CA), and the Fleshwarper (LoM). All great classes.

Any one know what the procedure for IDing a warlocks Ivocation as he casts it?
is it just a Spellcraft DC 15+ spell level of invocation?
or does it have som penalties for unfamiliarity

Craft (leatherworking, metalworking, or woodworking) 10 ranks
Knowledge (arcana) 5 ranks
Spellcraft 5 ranks
Use Magic Device 2 ranks
Craft Wondrous Item feat
Must have the simulacrum spell on a class spell list

The feats section of that book completely caught me by surprise when I encountered the "take feat, get the ability to cast three spells 1/day" type feats. Combined with no prerequisites my first level human fighter can now cast more spells/day then my friend's first level elf wizard.
