Yeah - 35 USD. It was 54 CDN in my local FLGS - but I balked at that. Give nthe high CDN dollar right now - that was gouging.
You can order the thing bundled with Grim Tales for $49 US right now - so - yes - it's cheaper than Shackled City. But it does not have pull out maps and is a hundred pages+ smaller. So...if production values and size matters, that might be a consideration.
Slavelords of Cydonia looks very cool. I've been wanting to pick it up for a while.
I have all of the issues with the Shackled City adventures in them - but will be getting the book anyways for the extra stuff. Not too sure I will run it though. I have a DragonLance campaign to finish, An Age of Worms campaign to run...
So many great long campains coming out now - and not enough time to run them!
Sorry to hear about the difficulties re: Israel and magazines. I would think it likely that Age of Worms will make its way into a hardcover release at some point if Shackled City does well.
Most unfortunate. Strange, too, considering WotC does just that through DTRPG. By mostly, for me and the multitudes of overseas would-be-customers (hint hint), unfortunate.
