Complete Divine Errata

Wouldnt DR kinda hinder the quills spell tho?. As far as i read it, it would be like procupine quills which would be negated by DR as they are physical, am i right? So the penalties would be negated as well since the quills wouldnt do any danage. I am just throwing this out there, dont know if it would be right or not.

That might be a decent interpretation. But a strict, by-the-rules interpretation I have heard many times is that damage caused by spells like quill blast bypasses DR, because it is from a spell. That is, DR negates damage from weapons or attacks. This is damage from a spell. After all, DMG p. 292, 2nd paragraph, says "Spells, spell-like abilities, and energy attacks (even non-magical fire) ignore damage reduction."

It would be nice for DR to have a benefit, but a strict interpretation of DR would not let DR affect quill blast.

I think they went a bit overboard with that nature's favour nerf. Granted it was far, far too strong as it was, but now its a 3rd level spell that caps out at character level 9 ? Divine Favour caps out at +3 also, but thats only 1st level...

I think it should either be a +3 cap at 2nd level, or a +5 cap at 3rd.

Recall though that arcane spells of 3rd level cap out at 10th and many 1st level arcane spells cap out at 5th. Granted, I may be wrong in attempting to use arcane spell caps to justify divine but I don't see a problem with it.

Not me. The druid is strong enough. I'd have preferred Nature's Favor never have been written. Druids don't need a "nature-flavored" version of every other classes' best spells. What's next, Nature's Sword instead of Holy Sword?

Stop the madness. Just say no to druids getting even more crazy powerful than they already are!

Nothing about the Black Flame Zealot's feat requirements? A kukri isn't an exotic weapon in 3.5.

The perils of transplanting a class from a 3.0 source. :)

There's that silly Natures Bow spell... ;) Or some similar name. Essentially Holy Sword.

Since quill blast inflicts piercing damage, I think it is reasonable to make it subject to DR. The question is whether the quills count as magical weapons for the purpose of beating DR x/magic.

Given the above, another limitation is that a quill has to deal damage in order to apply penalties.

It's Hunter's Mercy. It's stupid, and it's been grandfathered in by Player's Guide to Faerun.
Nope. Hunter's Mercy is not in CD. Darklone's referring to the Bane Bow spell (right, Darklone?), which gives a bow +5 enhancement bonus plus the bane enchantment (so it does +7 to hit, +7+2d6 to dmg vs. one kind of favored enemy). It's a Rgr4 spell.
