Let me just say that when I saw this thread title, I was thoroughly perplexed as to what it could possibly be!

Although, a dinosaur liche is an interesting thought...

The blurb on the page about the Complete Guide to Liches sounds very interesting, almost a whole new take on the classic fantasy monster.

My only question is, will any of the book cover the eventual "evolution" into a demi-lich? This aspect of liches seems to get ignored a lot in 3E.

The lich's slow descent into insanity, pure evil, and physical decay IS covered, but it's not a focus of the book. The emphasis is more on the "living" liches... for lack of a better word...
