Lullaby For The Volcanic Wyrm | Marauders of the Multiverse by Dragon Peak Publishing
  • SYSTEM: Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG/Mutant Crawl Classics RPG
  • PRODUCT TYPE: softcover adventure/zine supplement
  • RETAIL PRICE: $10 each
  • DESCRIPTION: Lullaby For The Volcanic Wyrm is a zero level adventure funnel and includes a new occupation table for the Isle of Milou. The PCs were born and raised on the tropical island. Only a single issue mars life on the island: the annual virgin sacrifice to the dragon that slumbers within the volcano. But after the village elder died, the sacrifices were stopped. Now the dragon awakens and the volcano erupts. All the other villagers look to the PCs: the virgins or at least those thought to be virgins. The PCs must ascend the volcano and present themselves as sacrifices. Marauders of the Multiverse plunder both the ruins of eons past and the pockets of its survivors. These malign fools are compelled by their own survival but also something greater than themselves such as serving their Gene Police masters or toiling away under Technorabble technomancers. Fortunately, the Patron AIs of the old world can be called upon for succor. A zine of rule options and adventure ideas.

The Disians are looking to strip the Sixth World of its life-giving energies and kill the PCs and everyone else as well. Most look the other way, but the PCs have chosen to act. They might follow the enemy ever deeper into the shadows to uncover their darkest secrets. Or struggle to expose the conspiracies between them and their allies to a blind or apathetic world. A brave (or insane) few face the enemy head-on in brutal combat against deadly, nightmarish opponents from another metaplane.
