Complete Nine Princes in Amber book

Lasher Dragon

First Post
A buddy of mine has tried for years to put together a complete set of Zelazny's Amber series. Lo and Behold I found them all in one book at Barnes & Noble the other day!! Just posting this in case anyone else is interested.

I have that one too. I'm just worried that the spine is going to come apart from overreading. That's what happened to all of my paperback WoT.

I have all books that make up Zelazney's original Amber series. Does anyone know how many books followed the original and their title names by chance? Thanks.

Sure. :) There are five books in the second series:

Trumps of Doom
Blood of Amber
Signs of Chaos
Knight of Shadows
Prince of Chaos

Different feel in many ways, and fairly widely regarded as not being quite as good as the first five -- but very enjoyable IMO (and if you play the diceless RPG, indispensible).

I found the first five books in two hardbound volumes...at my thrift store for $2 :)

I've read them many times, especially the fight with Strygalldwir and the surrounding events. I love that scene :)

Sadly it does not have the 5 short stories. :uhoh: Though the latest Amberzine finally reprints the last few.

No, but there's a newer anthology of Zelazny stories that has all the Amber short stories in it. It's called Mana from Heaven.
