Complete Nine Princes in Amber book

I like the 2nd series, but I don't know how indespensable they are to the RPG. I love them as books, but most people I know who play Amber pretend that the second series doesn't exist. It makes the system entirely too complicated.

Although, sometimes the complications lead to interesting results.

I enjoyed the 2nd series too, except for the ending, which seemed to be missing something... ok missing a lot. ;) You definately don't have to have read them for the DRPG, but there's still some cool stuff in there like Frakir, Merlin's invisible strangle cord, or the names Merlin gives to his spells... much more imaginative than "fireball". ;) Plus it gives you a few more family members to add into the fray.
