Complete [woozle wauzle?]

I get the idea that these are supposed to be more about aspects of the game itself that class splatbooks. complete Warrior isn't a book for fighters and monks, but more for anyone who engages in physical combat.

Complete Warrior - Info regarding the combat side of all characters.

Complete Arcane(?) - Info regarding arcane spells usable by anyone who can cast them.

Complete Divine - Info regarding divine spells usable by anyone who can cast them.

Complete Stealth(?) - Info regarding the use of stealth and trickery by all characters who resort to such means.

There's nothing wrong with the name - the word divine is also a noun used to describe an individual with connections to theology, the church, religion, the priesthood, etc etc. The word has fallen somewhat out of common usage, but it was used extensively in the early modern period to refer to theologians and clergymen.

I'm not sure whether "arcane" could have a similar usage. I would expect "arcanist" is more correct.

Cheers,
Cam

So, what might we see...more trap creation rules, guilds, more uses for social skills? A few PrC's that focus on non-combat rogues and general stealth types? I don't know how they can fill a book with that. Maybe the example PrC's will be 2 pages instead of 1
Stealth, Lurking, scouting ... if you want to include the ranger class (a la Move Silently and Hide skills).

Come to think of it, we may revisit the old Dungeoneer's Survival Guide and Wilderness Survival Guide with renamed Complete Dungeon and Complete Nature.

Aw, man. The thread title had me all excited that Complete Woozle Wauzle had finally been announced. :p

And I expect Complete Stealth to be the rougish book.

Nah, the rougish book will be Complete Make-Up.

The aim of those Complete Thingamajigs is to provide Thingamajig-related stuff for all class, even those that are not Thingamajig-centered.

I think we'll see the same pattern as with the splatbooks: Sword & Fist, Defenders of the Faith, Tome & Blood, Song & Silence, Masters of the Wild.

I'll propose Complete Mysteries, Complete Sneak, and Complete Outdoors.

Or maybe, Complete Shaft. They should really release a book entitled like that. It would include variant base classes (shafted), how to keep low-magic PC in a high-magic world, how to always chose, between rules and verisimilitude, the most shafting decision, etc.

And Complete Divine should be Complete Divinist (or "Diviner", which sounds like a specialist wizard class)?

Actually, no.

A "divine" (used as a noun) is

1. A cleric.
2. A theologian.
