[Completely OT] Ack - Sleepless Night

I've just had one of those bastard sleepless nights - I haven't got a moment of sleep It's now quarter past six in the morning here. I'd be getting up anyway in a hour and a quarter.

Ugh.

Bah! Its only 20 after 1 here and I haven't even thought of going to bed yet- So I guess I'm having a sleepless night too

Well, twenty past one was when I finally ehaded off to bed in an earlier attempt to sleep. I probably shouldn't have even bothered getting changed. Right now I'm sitting in a computer room staring at this screen in my dressing gown

In fact, what I'm doing right now is working on the online campaign I'm running. The earth genasi is trying to use pass without trace and her move silently and hide skills to avoid being seen/heard/noticed by an approaching line of dreadspawn coming through the trees.

So, the dreadspawn roll their spot checks: All prtty poor, apart from two of them.

Genasi's hide check - also poor.

Not looking good for the genasi.

Sorry 'bout these random ramblings, my mind isn't very coherent right now...

I just got home from a night of taking care of patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. I'm still jazzed from participating in two Code Blues and helping to bring those two gentlemen back from the brink of the Beyond.

Total Adrenaline Rush....

Whew!

So I'm cruising the web, drinking some red wine, and trying to calm down before bed.

I love Nursing! (The profession, not the feeding baby thingy. I have a hell of a time getting the little buggers to latch on. )

I have no use for mornings in any way, shape or form which is why I always select evening/night clinicals. It's more in line with my circadian rhythms.

Heh. Today I have a 9 o'clock - Christendom and Islam in the period of the 1st Crusade - a 10 o'clock - the Mediterranean and the Mediterranean World during the reign of Philip II - then one at 2:15 - Class, Culture, Power: Problems in Historical Interpretation - followed by a final seminar at 3:15 - War and Peace during the peroid something or another to some other date .

Gah.
