The fiction and comics were good, yes. But while the speculative pieces were not sold as anything more than that, they didn't actually go far out of their way to point out that they were speculative, either. You'd be surprised at how many people took them for gospel truth, and that annoyed me :(

Well, you'll find dumbasses everywhere man:), don't let them spoil your enjoyment of something.

Yes, well, I find it hypocritical that a magazine supposedly dedicated to science did so little to prevent (and, IMHO, traded upon) the spread of dumbassedness.

Especially when there are loads of other sources for science reporting and good fiction. It isn't like I felt I was missing something :)

I gotta tell you; I don't agree with your opinion, but I love the term "Dumbassedness" :)
