Heretic Apostate
First Post
My family gets Popular Mechanics already, so I'm not going to be picking that up. I do love the articles, but half of the magazine is devoted to carpentry (which I'm too mechanically inept to ever try) and automobiles (which, strangely, never seem to focus on autos I can afford).
I do like the articles, though. I especially liked (within the last five years) the article about the future US Navy might be built on a catamaran basis (it had some really cool pictures), the Sukhoi advanced tactical fighter that might be a challenge to the US Air Force's future fighter, and the aerocopter that might be a technologically-workable replacement for the tiltrotor that keeps crashing and killing Marines.
Haven't had Popular Science in many a year.... What type of articles have they had recently?
Sea Classics doesn't seem to be available. Guess I'll have to look for that in those little flyers they toss in with textbooks at the College bookstore.
