D&D 3E/3.5 Composite bows: no limit on bonus in 3.5?

There doesn't seem to be a limit on how "strong" you can make a composite bow in 3.5. IIRC, the limit was +4 for a longbow in 3.0, and +8 for a longbow in AU. Would you enforce any such limit?
