Conan gets the shaft from Amazon

Conan RPG price tag now raised at Amazon.com to the full cover price of $49.95! The correct cover art is up and the shipping time is now listed as "usually ships in 1-2 weeks". My pre-order (placed weeks ago) is still at the discounted rate but hasn't shipped yet.

I checked Wal-Mart.com and although they raised their price from 37% off, it's $31.47 (30% off), which is what Amazon was asking originally.

Priceowl.com shows Buy.com is the cheapest for Conan RPG @ $29.89, followed by Wal-Mart, but says the book is in stock everywhere but Buy.com, despite the fact that nobody shows it is in stock on their sites. http://www.priceowl.com/books/isbn/1904577695

On a related note, Wal-Mart is also offering 37% off pre-orders of THE SCROLLS OF SKELOS (Conan magic sourcebook listed as due out end of March). Amazon offers pre-orders for it at 30% off.

A couple publishers no longer ship to Amazon. Eden Studios being one... I've given up ordering from Amazon for some publishers...

Their pricing policy is so hit-and-miss. Some items are 30% off, and some items, from the same publisher, are full price. For instance, look at Bow & Blade and Hammer & Helm.
