The Hollywood Reporter has announced some of the voice actors for the Red Nails animated film.

Perlman is nailed down for 'Conan'

Ron Perlman has signed on to voice Conan of Cimmeria for Swordplay Entertainment's "Conan: Red Nails," the first animated film featuring the mythic barbarian. Marg Helgenberger and James Marsden also are joining the voice cast, which includes Clancy Brown, Cree Summer and Mark Hamill. The film will be directed by Victor Dal Chele, with a screenplay by Steve Gold and Timothy Dolan. Gold and Jonathan Bogner are producing. Swordplay's David R. Schwarcz and Patricia Gillum are executive producing along with Peter Sederowsky and Fredrik Malmberg of Paradox Entertainment, owners of the Conan property. Nicholas Temple is the film's co-executive producer.

I dunno, but landing perlman as Conan-voice is pretty cool. I never even heard of this film until just now!

Is it a law now that every geeky cartoon must have Mark Hamill and Clancy Brown?

:p

It seems that way. Still, I think Mark Hamill is a great voice actor. It was ages before I realized that he played The Joker on the animated Batman series in the early 90s and I was a HUGE fan of that show.

That's awesome that they are making more Conan movies. I think it would be great to see some good, non-anime fantasy animation. Bring on Conan, Fafhrd & The Gray Mouser, Elric, and the lot! And no huge eyes, no spikey hair, no indecipherable plots!

I'm not complaining or anything. Just find it funny.

And big YEAH! on Perlman as Conan.
