Hello All,
I am working on a concept for an upcoming project and I would like a black and white drawing to use when the project is completed. The artist will retain full rights to the work and will be credited in the finished product.
I’m looking for a full page drawing that would include both landscape and creature/character elements. I need the final format to be delivered as a TIFF image of at least 150dpi.
The rate of pay would be $25 dollars. If you are interested please email me at scott@flanagans.com with a rough, conceptual sketch and a link to your portfolio, if you have one.
The drawing should include a large town with a river twisting through its northern half. A single moon encompasses about ¼ of the sky. The rest of the sky is full of lines and symbols as if an astronomer’s charts were transposed onto the actual sky. In the foreground an adventuring party of orcs of hobgoblins is returning to the town.
I’m definitely not looking for a rendering of a medieval city – more like a small version of Rome meets the Dark Ages with a little sinister, fantasy twist on the side. I don’t know if that means anything to anyone but me, but that is the feel that I am going for: dark, brooding, mysterious and magical.
Thanks to all that reply and I will do my best to quickly inform everyone when an artist has been selected.
Best Regards,
Scott
