I wanted to say congratulations and thank you to those of you who have been waiting so long for 4E to come out. "Congratulations" because it took a lot of effort on the part of Russ, the moderators and all of you to get here all in one piece, and "thank you" for making it an enjoyable 9-10 months of discussion, speculation, and anticipation. I had some concerns early on that EN World might divide so sharply that it would be painful for one "side" or the other to remain, but I'm glad to see that those fears were unfounded. I know first hand the pleasure a new edition can bring and I am truly excited for you and hope you find the new edition everything you hoped it would be.

I myself am going to get a taste of it this weekend and will be sure to share my impressions soon.

Thank you, Eric for starting the site way back in the day. I've been a EN World lurker/poster from the very beginning when it was Eric Noah's 3rd edition news site!

I hope that you have a good DM for your first 4e game. A good or bad DM can really make or break the experience.

Yeah but a lot of people now have at least the preview module and as far as I'm concerned that essentially means the milestone has been passed.

It seems like just yesterday I was at home on that fateful night when the info on 4E started leaking onto the web and EN World was firing comments off fast and furious.
