Conjured Object Question

First Post
I'm looking at the Invoker power "Symbol of Hope" (Utility/6 from PHB2) which conjures a symbol in an unoccupied square. My questions are:
  • Can it be attacked?
  • How many hit points does it have?
  • Does it use its creator's defenses?
  • Can it just be picked up and therefore removed from play by an opponent?
  • Can it be picked up and dropped elsewhere by a party member / the creator?

Thanks!

Normally conjurations cannot be attacked or physically affected. Those that can be attacked, do indeed use the creator's defenses, but the symbol can't be attacked.

That is to say, conjurations can't normally be affected by much of anything unless their description specifically says that they can. The shaman's spirit companion, for example, has defenses, can be hit by certain attacks, and so on. This is all in the glossary at the back of the PHB2.

So, specifically, your symbol just hangs out there until you stop sustaining it, giving out bonuses, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. ;)

Thanks for mentioning the glossary, Spatula, I didn't think to look there. That answered any other questions I had.

Thanks everyone!

(are there any monsters that can?).
None of the creatures from the various hardbacks IIRC, but there's an elite in (if memory serves) Pyramid of Shadows that has it.

IMO though, any DM worth his salt would give this power to most wizardly creatures of the proper level anyway.
