Anyone who plays in any of my games can bugger off now...












In one of my kingdoms I have set up monotheism. There is only Auros - talk of other gods means that demons have been about corrupting souls. To give some variety, the clerics follow various saints. At one point in the history, the LG and CG factions of the church nearly erupted into war, until an obscure scribe found some lost scriptures that solved the conflict.

But...that scribe forged the scriptures to prevent civil war. There is no such passage, he just didn't want the brothers of the church to come to blows. To make things even worse, since his death he's been sainted himself with a good following of scholars and sages. Surely some of them must know or at least suspect. If it ever comes to light, it would mean open war across the kingdom from several different arms of the church.
