Put it this way its another version of a Golem, It won't produce or mate.

IT IS NOT A GOLEM! It's a Mak Fawa, a bio-mechanical sentient construct of organic steel. It does not need to breathe, but it does grow, and it can reproduce. 
But such things are lost on those who have not seen the glory of phyrexia. 
To make a long story short, the first Mak Fawa where built by a very, very, very advanced semi-deific being, and where gifted both with sentience and the ability to breed. They are mechanical but are very much alive.

True, as I remember in second edtion Metal Dragons were created through Magic. But this is just a another version of an Idea I wanted to do to see of its interesting to see a Golem Dragon.
