Construct (or warforged) livestock

Looking at the warforged racial weights, it seems like a 'forged with any kind of gear on him/with him would begin to place a strain on any kind of horse available. Are there rules for building warforged horses or construct horses? What kinds of loads could they haul? Truth be told, this is all part of my master plan to create a warforged paladin, but I wanted to get the question out more generally.

well, if you are looking to play a palidin, then what i didn wouldn't work for you, but I took levels in Juggernaught so to be immune to non -eathal damage, and an everburning torch. I had harnesses made to fit me and purchased a wagon. I hauled the party around. I turned out to be faster than moving with horses simply because I could travel for 3 times as long, albeit at a slower speed(double moving). It was kind of fun.

I've always just had warforged travel on foot, because they don't get tired. Horses have limited endurance, and must stop every so often for rest and food. Why bother riding one of those fragile meatbags if you yourself can sprint forever without a break?

They don't sleep but are still subject to forced march rules for the purposes of non-leathal damage. kind of dumb, but they can walk themselves unconcious, in which case the don't wake up unless "Healed" by a mage etc as they don't recover hit points as normal living characters do.

Alternatively, there's a "half-construct" template floating around somewhere.

I believe the half-construct template you are thinking of is from a dungeon adventure with the half-construct baddies. The hasted half-construct minotaur was especially nasty.

I ran into the same problem a month ago with the Forged in my Final Fantasy Campaign. I set up the stables where there are different breeds of Chocoboo including those beefy ones especially bred for Forged (warforged name in my campaign). The larger chocs require more upkeep money and stables charge 2.5 more for them knowing that if the Forged are going (they are slave labor) then it must be an important find.
