Time for a brand new CMG - EN World membership number contest and this time it is the 12,345 Count Up Countdown!

It may take a little while until the boards hit that number but it is up to each contestant to guess when that will occur.

I will let this run for a while with the guessing but might cut off the guessing at anytime, so do not allow yourself to wait too long to pick your target number.

To choose your target pick a date and time (US central, please) when you believe the boards will turn over to the number 12,345 members registered.

Post that guess in this thread and do not edit your post or it will disqualify you as a potential winner.

What can you win? The person guessing closest to the date and time when that boards turn over to the number 12,345 will win $25.00 worth of current or future CMG PDF products!

Just one winner? Nope. Additionally, two other lucky contestants who are the second and third closest to the date and time when the boards turn over to the number 12,345 registered members will receive $20.00 worth of CMG PDF products or $15.00 worth of CMG PDF products respectively.

But there is a catch. To be eligible to win a prize you must also move the mountain. How do you move the mountain? Easy! Just go to my new message board, register there (using either your same screenname as here, or adding some telling text in your sig on my board to make sure we can know it is also you). And, if you can please take the time, help me to break them in by posting in some semi-constructive way, shape or form, please do.

As per my normal operating procedure you can be sure that everyone who participates will receive some sort of prize, but what the consolation prize might be I do not even know at this time. I have a couple of new generator ideas in the mix, or may have some other DMing or Player type goodie, but rest assured there will be something for everyone!

Heh heh heh I think your guess may be so far off as to be quite misleading to other potential contestants so let me just point out that on 04/27/03 we passed the 11,111 mark @ 12pm CST (approx). Just before I posted this contest we hit the 12,045 mark. Three hundred to go until the end of this contest. 934 new members registered in less than the last two months...and to top it all off, IIRC, there was a surge just before Gencon and the ENnies of new members last year (as folks seek information on both events), so this could be a much quicker contest than it appears...or maybe not. We'll see, but if it lasts until August I would be VERY much surprised.
