D&D 3E/3.5 Control Undead 3.0 vs 3.5

Ok... I am currently in a party that is running 3.5 and I am the mage. The setting is scarred lands, so many of my spells come from the relics and rituals books, however some spells, such as Control Undead appear in both books.

I was looking at an online SRD today... and it listed Control Undead as a 7th level wizard spell... and I can almost guarentee that the Relics and Rituals had it penned as a level 2 wizard spell. Anyone wanna clarify/correct this? (since I'm a level 3 wizard... and it's my fault if my spells are all fudgidy)

Control Undead is listed in the 3.5 PHB as a 7th level spell under the spell listing.

Command Undead is listed as a 2nd level spell in the 3.5 PHB.

Control is like a mass version of command that is more effective. Command only allows you to 'dominate' unintelligent undead, while intelligent undead are effectively charmed.
