D&D (2024) Convert a Character Fun Thread (+)

ᚳᚣᚾᛖᚹᚢᛚᚠ (He/Him)
As a fun little aside and a reprieve from all the negativity, let’s play a game. Convert one (or more, but please one character per post) of a previous edition character (whether your first character if you still have it lying around, or a just favorite character) to 5.24e.

This is a “+ thread”, so if you’re not a fan of the 5.24 (or 5e in general) or you take umbrage at WotC/Hasbro, or whatever, I ask you to leave that to other threads—this is supposed to be a fun thread.

I'll start with the very first character I ever played:

Gideon

Abilities: Str 15 (+1), Int 13 (+1), Wis 13 (+1), Dex 9 (+0), Con 10 (+0), Cha 10 (+0/4/7)

Equipment: Backpack, Bag of Holding, Grappling Hook, Hammer (small), Helm of Teleportation, Holy Symbol, Iron Spikes (12), Iron Rations (1 week), Lantern, Mirror (hand-sized, steel), Oil (4 flasks), Potion of Super-healing, Rope (50’ long), Saddle and Bridle, Saddlebags, Tinder Box, War Horse, Waterskin, 600 gp.

This character was created way back in 1987 (when I was 12!) with the Mentzer edition D&D Basic, Expert and Companion sets. Gideon was an 11th-level fighter when last I left him.

Way back then, we didn’t put much (if any) effort into a character’s background, and a character’s personality was generally developed as we went along. As you can probably tell, the DM was a bit, ah... liberal... with his choices in treasure (yes, that’s a shotgun in there), but, hey, we were 12 and we were having fun. But whatever, let’s update Gideon to the 2024 edition of Dungeons & Dragons:
