Spelljammer Converting Spelljammer creatures

Just noticed that the Fool just has a normal treasure listing. Should we specify "including possessions listed below" I guess?

Any ideas on possessions for the epic one? No particularly great ideas here. Any high-powered staff that's great for evokers?

Nice idea! I'm surprised at how low the damage is from the retributive strike, though. In any event, I like it! And it can be the melee weapon, excellent.

What equipment budget are we talking about here?

That's an excellent question. I can't seem to locate an epic NPC wealth chart. A 20th-level NPC has 220,000 gp in gear, and this fella's 21st-level, so a bit higher. Factor in the fact that it's CR 24, and has double items, I could see a budget of at least 500,000 gp. I'd probably go closer to 750,000 gp.

Pricing for epic items can be wonky, too, I think, though I believe it was just weapons that looked weird.

I'd probably stick roughly to the budget for double items.

Well a staff of fiery power is 500k so you've already used up all or two-thirds of the budget.

If you want an epic staff maybe we should go for a cheaper option like a staff of spheres?

Or increase our budget...

It looks like we're OK with the staff...

From page 209 of the DMG:
21st 975,000 gp
22nd 1,200,000 gp
23rd 1,500,000 gp
24th 1,800,000 gp

Doubling 21st gives us 1,950,000 gp
Doubling 24th gives us 3,600,000 gp

Even without doubling, it still leaves some wiggle room.

In other words, use the "increase our budget" option.
