Cool ideas for a blighter

Hi guys,

I'm gonna have a elf blighter as the next vilain of my campaing. He'll be arround level 11 or 12, and I just wanted some help from you guys in creating a interesting vilain.

He's a blighter who still lives among the elves, so he's gonna keep a low profile, while using his powers to influence his people, mostly by creating natural destruction (like dead animals and dead trees) and saying they're sings of nautre.

Anyway, I just wanted some sugestions as to good feats, spells, tatics, or any thoughts at all.

Thanks a lot

Practiced Spellcaster. Improved Turn Resistance. Natural Spell.

Two of the blighter's biggest problems are that their low caster level gimps their damage spells (flame strike for 4d6? Ooh, I'm scared) and that they are easy to turn when they use their undead wildshape. (So he wildshaped into a dire bear skeleton. OK, I call upon Pelor and do a greater turning. Bye bye blighter).

A third problem for the blighter is that they don't play well with others (and thus tend toward being solo encounter villains) but don't have any ability to heal themselves either. OTOH, if they use undead wildshape and still have a means of casting spells (thats what natural spell is for) they can use a harm or inflict spell to heal themselves.

One big problem that I see is that they have to destroy the natural growth around them to pray for their day's spells. I don't know how long a blighter could fool his neighbors if he was still living amongst them, particularly other elves.

Well, I don't know how well the lower-level version would work, but I enjoyed having my Defiler villain use Quicken Spell-like Ability and Maximize Spell-like Ability on his Burning Hands effect 3x/day.

I also enjoyed using - what's it called - Hide of the Elephant (might require GM permission) to stack a +8 natural armor bonus with the skeletal +5 bonus and the +2 Wild Dragonhide Plate armor for a surprisingly ungodly AC.
