Cool images.

I just watched an anime music video, and I got a cool image I want to use some day. Someone is cut, and when the blood hits the floor, each drop forms a different letter, rune, or kanji.

Got any cool images you just have to use in your game some time?

have plenty of cool images. none of them from anime.

That's understandable for a man your age. But you must admit, a lot of anime series have great premises that would make for phenomenal fantasy or sci-fi movies. You might not like their art style, but the Japanese can come up with some amazing visuals in their shows.

Then again, most Japanese live action TV sci-fi is atrocious. But then there's always that nifty movie that's coming out soon, Casshern.

Actually yes, I've been dying to use this:

A Egyptian priest chants a spell and as he does so a cartouche of golden energy forms in front of him with a hieroglyph forming for every syllable. When the spell is finished a ray will shoot from the priests outstretched hand and strike its target, a Mayan priestess. She in turn will be protected by a wall of emerald glowing Mayan text. I'm planning on photo shopping up the cartouche and texts and then printing them on overhead projection sheets, then cutting them up and taping them into cylinders so I can put them around the respective miniatures.

Saw one along the same lines, the villian a vampire I think would turn into mist, the mist would have writing on it that would fade as the mist was blown away. I remember trying to see what it said, now I can't remember the name of it.

Thought about using it in my game but never have.

Pretty much anything Pai Mei does in Kill Bill Vol. 2. In my Manifest Destiny campaign (wild west alternative history D&D3E) I'm planning on having a very Pai Mei character, maybe just Pai Mei himself.

My current desktop background is him jumping on The Bride's sword.
